Hi Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and gals... haha this starting is a joke behind the trip that me, dear, dear's sis and dear's sis's bf (Ting). Find out more if you are curious but anyway this post is to update the trip to Malaysia that we have recently on 8 - 10 August 2009. This is the first time I stay overseas and its considered a very inspiring good experience for me as I have a taste of what I truely want to achieve in life.
Ok. 8 of August is exactly a Saturday and we are suppose to leave Singapore early but due to dear's sis and Ting work, we have to leave in the afternoon instead after their half day of work. However, dear's sis was held up at work and we have to leave Singapore at a later timing. I went to dear's house at around 12pm and waited for them to get release from work. haha, considered a good day as I started to play my PSP again after so long didn't play. While waiting for dear's sis to reach home, we played the PS3 instead and we played a silent racing game lolx as dear dunno how to operate the sound system and I lost in the game to her.. Can you believe that...haha
We left Singapore at 3.30pm and Ting drove us to KL. The trip was a very long trip and initially we expect to be a 4 hours drive but it ended up longer than we expected. Lucky, I got bring food along with me or else my stomach will be making a lot of noise le. However, the dark cholocate that I bought at TP melted and can't be eaten. Haiz wat a waste. We reached KL at around 9 plus and went to eat at their chinatown area. Manz.. Ting lost his way although he was a malaysian as the last time he went KL was 3 yrs ago..however, he had his GPS with him which managed to get us to somewhere near our hotel for dinner. The funny thing is that our first meal there was considered quite ex as that area was road side food store but the food was ex. This was what I called tourist's ignorance but bo bian la..have fun jiu hao..checked it at KL Sentral Hotel and went to sleep.
Day 2: Genting Trip
After having our hotel breakfast buffet, we drove up to Genting and I was told to wear shirt. However, after further clarification, dear's sis means Polo T-shirt and I realized I was the only formal guy who go up Genting playing Theme Park. Lucky, I got my casual jacket or else I will look weird there. Great thing is I dun feel cold with my shirt and jacket. We went to outdoor theme park to play and its my first time taking real roller coaster ride, spacer shooter, and many more.. the 3 of them all play so I bo bian have to play with them and what I can say is close your eyes and a few minutes later everything will be over.. haha
After theme park, we went to the casino to gamble. Both dear and I was stopped by the security guard to check our passport.. haha dear was angry as at this age still can ppl check her age and for me I felt funny instead as normally ppl will feel I look mature instead and this means a good sign for me.. haha Anyway, we went to look around and managed to learn a new game called 3 Pictures. Quite easy to play without much thinking but just adding numbers together and based on luck. Wasted we all forgot to wear our red undies or else maybe we will have a better luck haha. U should know what I mean as only dear's sis managed to break even. haha. Dear left with 2.5RM token instead and Ting and I both lost some RM. Tat 2.5RM ended up become her souvenir from that casino
As we about to leave the casino, we saw outside was very dark and misty. Dear said those are clouds gathering around and I was stunned as this is the first time close encounter with those clouds. Tat's why its called Yun Ding (Genting)..haha Cool rite. We have a hard time finding the way to the car park and what I can say was that the ride down the hill was more exciting than the theme park ride as you can't see the road in front of you even you use the wrapper. Ended up we have to open the windows and drive very slowly.
Once we managed to get out of the cloudy place, we went to Twin Tower instead. Its really nice to see it in front of you as the day before, we only managed to see it from far while driving and from our hotel. Really gigantic and nice. However, the other places near the area looks old and ulu or else the whole city will looks damn cool. Have our dinner there and managed to find doraemon food (tong lou shao) too. Bought 4 different favours back to hotel for supper but realized too tired to eat.
Day 3: Times Square
We have our breakfast buffet again and we checked out of the hotel. We drove down to Times Square to tour the shopping mall. Quite cool as the shopping mall had a indoor theme park. What I can say the indoor roller coaster ride was more scary than the one at Genting and lucky we dun have much time to stay there to play.. haha
There's a lot of figurine shop and women's clothing shop around in Times Square. However, the thing that caught my eye was a anime DVD Shop. Managed to find my favourite DragonBall GT in chinese that I can't find in Singapore and as you guess I bought it back. After tat, we went to have our lunch at a hong kong cafe. The service of the restaurant we went through the whole trip is bad as they serve very very slow. The funny thing is we even got free food sent to our table wrongly and we told them we dun have that and they mentioned was in our order list.. haha ended up ate more but same price. We drove back to Singapore once we finished our lunch at around 3.30pm and we met traffic jams here and there along the trip back. Have urgent moments too. haha.
I will just stop my post here as I think its considered quite long.. We will try to create a blog skin once we find the time to do it.
