I'm 23 after my last birthday celebration on 24 July. Went to JB City Square with dear to sing K at Neway. A lot of happenings on that day and its a good experience for the two of us. Anyway, if you are changing currency, do it in Singapore instead as there are government taxes over at Malaysia. Even normal food at their Food Junction were taxed accordingly haha. However, I can say their food is really nice and cheap.
Ok. Initially, we are thinking of going JB to watch movie but after finding out online that there are not much good movies left, we decided to go sing K instead as my colleague told me about the Neway over there. We went there as student rates and sing 3 hours in total. Although my throat is not in a very good condition, I can say that the food is very nice compared to Singapore KBOX and they provide mic's cover for hygiene purposes. One more interesting thingy that I found on my first song that I clicked on was actually an English song "Bad Day", nearly got scolding from dear but we both realised its a original MV from the song instead. Can you believe that?? haha can't find that in Singapore KBOX wor.. cool rite?
After singing, we went to take neoprint (alot of varieties to choose from) and after that we went to have our dinner. I can sing the food is cheap and it can make you full as the portion is big. Another funny happening after dinner is that we nearly can't find the exit to go back to the interchange and after we found it, we took the wrong escalator down to the bus station and a Malaysian spoke Malay to us saying that we cannot go back up as there are web cam around.
Although a lot of happenings, both of us enjoy our time together in this trip and maybe next time can jio our friends to go sing k together as its really cheap wor. Abt 8 dollar per pax on weekdays for student rate and the food is really tasty. haha
On 25 July, both me and dear have our final theory test at Comfort Driving Centre. I was supposed to meet dear at 9am at her bus stop but I missed the bus 163 while changing from 27. haiz, or else can get a free ride from her dad to CDC. Nvm as we still make it on time to have our breakfast at CDC. However, when we go take our e-trail, I realised I forgot to bring my IC with me and I have kept my passport that I have used on the previous day to JB in the morning. Haiz. Blur me...
The tester at the e-trail station asked me to check with the tester at the actual FTT test station to see whether i can use my EZ-link card (previously from NTU with my face and IC on it) and after my e-trail, I went to check it out while dear was still doing her e-trail. Haiz.. Bad thing happen one after another, the tester said no and I have to rush back home to collect my IC instead but he did mention can allow me to be late abit. The time was abt 11am and my test was at 11.45am. Rushing for time to reach home fast to get my IC and come back to CDC to take my FTT. Didn't manage to find a cab around that area and took bus 15 downwards, however, time is 1115am instead. Came down of bus and flag for cab. Found a cab and told the driver that I am going two location. After talking to the taxi driver abt my incident, he laughed at me saying that this is a rare thing that he heard before in his life. As he have been bringing his IC with him for the past 40 years of his life. Haiz kena suan by him and throughout the journey, more things were suan by him. Total bill 20 bucks for the whole journey of being suan and he even rub salt on my wound saying want me to learn this lesson of bringing my IC with me. haha.
Run into CDC and took my test at 12pm. Didn't see dear around while I am doing my test. However, towards the end of the test saw her in front of me going out of the room. While doing, saw the gal beside me passed her test and I told myself must pass this test or else my Taxi fare is not worth the money lolx. Luckily, I passed my FTT with one time try. When I was out, I saw dear with her happy face and I know she has finally passed her FTT. I told her about the whole incident and she laughed at it lor. Initially, wanted to suan her that she must take her test with me in order to pass easily as I bring her luck since last basic theory. haha, but in the end kena suan back as although I managed to pass both my basic and advance at one time, my total cost of spending with my taxi fees is more than what she spent. Haiz. After that, I went to take my Q number for getting PDL and I got the number P163..haha cool rite.
Anyway, I can say everything is going good as there won't be always bad luck happening if we try to keep our mind positive.
