yeah got this from a mail and i think quite useful for those who travelling to another country.. FYI
Dear All,
Something to Share-----------------------------------------------------------------HELLO,Its important that I have to share tis info wit those who drive to across causeway for shopping or for stopover.
Tis article is a E-Mail from XX POLICE DIVISION from a police report given.
BEWARE AS TO WHERE YOU PARK YOUR CAR NEXT - IN YY COUNTRY
This actually happened to a Man not a woman recently in YY... during Lunar New Year period.....
Imagine:
You walk across the parking lot, Unlock your car and get inside. Then you lock the doors, start the engine and shift to reverse or shift to forward gear.
Before reversing or moving off, you look into the rear mirror and you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window screen that is obstructing your view.
So you shift the gear to park, unlock your door and jump out to remove that silly piece of paper (or watever it may be). When you reach the back of your car, that is when the surprise begins..!
The Car-Jacker appears out of nowhere. jumps into your car and takes off....!!! Your engine is still running, your belongings are all in the car, including watever you may have bought from your shopping trip.
They will mow you down as they take off if you so much as try to stop them.BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.Just drive away to a safe busy place and remove the paper that is stuck to your rear window LATER and also look behind for any cars that follows you closely and be thankful that you read this email.
Imagine if your handphone, passport, wallet with IC, creadit cards, cash, HOME ADDRESS and YOUR HOUSE KEYS inside your car....!
..hoho GOOD LUCK den...!! haha
Also beware of people throwing stones from the bridge along highway. If you are hit by any objects.... don't stop. Just drive away and check your vehicle at a safe place or busy petrol kiosk...also look behind for any car that follow you closely.
