做人难， 难做人， 做好人更难。。have you ever faced this problem before and i think i met alot since the day i started serving NS.. firstly, wanna say something tat my frd told me during office hours today n i felt its quite true sia.. He told me tat his greatest regret in NS is that he doesn't achieve any high ranks as always kena arrow or blame by those higher ranking than him as man lvl cannot really have any say in so many things.. i think its quite true and i even have this feeling tat arrow or blame by higher ranking is still considered ok and the real thingy that really hurts is that even those same man lvl ppl as u did put blame to u.. here i will write down wat happen today that make me quite sianz abt it..
today morning i have been asking my frd (*who is working for the Warrant planning the duty*) abt whether the tentative duty forecast for FEB 07 is out anot but he told me that it need to be vet by higher ranking official first before putting out as FEB 07 is a special month with alot of events and even occassion like chinese new year. Therefore, i thought tat it will not be out today n have to wait again as i have been waiting for it for the past few days liao (*reason for waiting is wanna check to see whether i will tio 1st FEB anot as i had changed my dental appt due to some reasons*).. However, my frd from another dept came to inform me before lunchtime that the duty forecast is out and i walked downstairs to check see which day i tio. For the past three months, i had been doing sentry duty of abt 3 to 4 days per month and i didnt really care abt the frequency until recently someone complain to an official that why is there so many duty when it isnt even peak period like chinese new year and why is that that those who have the same medical status as us went to do IDS which is simpler job n lesser frequency than sentry duty. haha, his complain really make an impact as that official went to check out n even trying to bring those IDS personnel to join us for sentry duty. haha, after seeing the action of that official, i thought that i will be relieved with lesser duty but another incident happen..haiz..
While checking through the duty forecast for FEB 07, i was stunned when i saw that i had 2 duty for tat month haha.. u thought it may be good as the days cut down but i dun think so as i kena chu yi of chinese new yr and a week day lolx.. wth rite and the thing disturbing me is that i already put duty committment for tat four important days of chinese new year liao but i still kena.. i complained to my frd abt it saying why so suay sia den my frds said mine is considered good liao as they tio 4 days for that month without any day off lolx but my one is 1 chinese new yr + 1 day = total 2 days nia den still can claim off somemore due to public holiday so total only perform one day duty like tat lor but to me is sianz lolx as chu yi is the only time tat i can see my relatives n cousins lolx.. den i start to think of wat my Company Sergeant Major (CSM) told us before that those ppl who kena duty before on public holidays (*remember abt my last christmas duty abt monkey stealing my cup noodle mah..haha*) will not kena again.. therefore i became damn fed up with this duty planning and go ask my sergeant abt it.. he adviced me to go ask the warrant who planned the duty and i did so by bringing down the RO which stated tat i performed on Christmas as a prove to him. When tat warrant saw me, he said Chua wat's up again as i almost every month got problem abt the duty de haha.. still remember last month that he asked me abt whether i did public holidays before as i think he wanna put me on chinese new yr due to my many changes but i told him tat i did on christmas liao and he said that the chances of getting on chinese new yr is slim..but who knows i kena liao haha.. somemore is on CHU YI LOLX.. haha lucky that warrant is a nice guy as he asked me wat i want this time den i told him that i perform duty on christmas before and that my CSM told me last time that those who do duty on public holiday will not really tio chinese new yr.. den tat warrant stunned awhile and say how can it be as he remember he did block out those who did before on public holiday de and he will only give chu san to them or dun even put them on chinese new yr period... after checking through his file, he said aiya he forgot to unhighlight me tat's why i kena la.. so he made changes by looking through the others and found that those chu san ppl also did public holiday before too and ask see whether i'm ok if i do on chu xi which is the eve of chinese new yr and he said it will be a good deal as he had already check with commander that there will be two shifts on chu xi as one is 8am - 3pm and another is 3pm to 8pm and he will put me on the first shift.. therefore i said ok lor coz bo bian mah better than chu yi la.. however, i found out that the person he changed is another guy from my branch de.. sianz.. i feel bad abt it n went to inform him so that to let him know the worst thing first as i told him i didnt arrow him for tat day n is the warrant made the changes de.. haiz after telling him tat i thought i will get him mentally prepared for the worst but he ended up start blaming me why this n tat.. i told him the reason why the warrant arrow him to do on chu yi is becoz he didnt perform any duty before on public holiday that's why he will tio as he looked through the figures of ppl (without even looking at the NAMES lolx) who never perform on public holiday and the one he saw tat can be easily change with me de is him.. haiz.. after he heard wat i told him, he start complaining that he should have volunteered on hari raya haji tat time and say camp dun have indian meh and why got some many ppl didnt do on public holiday why him.. after complaining he went out of my office n go back to his office.. when i went into his office, a few of my frds start saying me why i go change until tat guy so sianz n even wanna push me to a room lolx.. den i became angry saying tat its not tat i want it to be like tat de lor and why they dunno anything start giving so many comments lor.. therefore, i told another frd who know the whole thing to leave the room with me or else i will be kena fan si..
during lunch, i told another frd of mine who know i tio chu yi de abt the case that i changed my duty n my frd den told me that tat guy even came to his office n start complaining to the rest that i'm the bad guy in our branch as i changed the duty to benefit me and cause trouble to him.. haha when i heard this i became damn fed up lolx as i did told tat guy tat i'm not the one who arrow that chu yi to him de lolx and i have explained the reasons liao but haiz.. my frd knew abt my case n felt tat tat guy is wu liao lolx as he didnt even do duty on public holiday before still dare to complain here n there that ppl hai him..
while i was going home in my frd's dad car with my another grp of frds, i asked a frd who did christmas duty with me de abt whether he tio chinese new yr anot den he said nope n i realise why his face look so weird den i start to realise should be tat guy's complain in their dept too that cause him to be so quiet de so i told him n the rest abt the details of wat happen just now abt my changes for the duty and they all start to talk abt it that no wonder they feel so weird abt how come i will change n hai tat person lolx as i'm not the type who purposely cause trouble to ppl de.. haha i realised i have been too good to ppl tat even they will take it for granted as i did help that guy before to a last min change of duty without even bringing any clothing or shampoo to change n wash up due to his range.. haiz.. i think he should have already forgotten abt tat le lolx. kns lolx.. if i'm a bad guy in the first place i will not even inform him abt the change of duty for chu yi n chu xi le lor.. why would someone bother so much in his mind abt whether he is informed earlier instead of last minute lolx.. like wat my frd said i shouldnt treat this kind of ppl good lolx.. be bad guy is better la easier to be leh why so good to ppl.. but come to think of it no wonder bad guys live longer as they no need to think so much lolx.. 好人难做但是有挑战性但是不能活太久哦。。哈哈
